It's definitely been a long time since I've last visited. To be honest, it barely crossed my mind that I had this created years ago.
So it's the year 2022. How the world has changed drastically. Even after for two years, Covid was still pretty much the main reason why we're living how we are today. Face masks and social distancing. The idea of working from home (WFH) was no longer just talks, and it also contributed to the growth for digital marketing and food delivery.
So how I am doing? Well, in general things are still working fine. I'd still consider myself lucky having able to land a job and F&B isn't that bad in terms of pay but it requires much physical movement and mental having to deal with customer complaints and the various crisis that comes from time to time. However, I am glad to have able to strike off another wish off my bucket list - to work in a F&B establishment. It was truly an eye opening journey, and sadly, the business had so much potential to growth better than it is doing now, if the management was in a better state. Although I was very much the third in command, unfortunately, I was only merely sufficient to manage an outlet.
And... hopefully I'll be able to get some things straightened out before I leave the team to management on their own. Training the new guys were really a pain in the ass, firstly the lacking of caliber and not to mention the patience required to withstand all the mistakes that a newbie could commit. And really, after a few incidents, age really does not determine the maturity of an individual. It shocked me how ignorant these people are and how to viewed their work responsibilities through rose-colored glasses. Of course, mainly contributed to the family upbringing. I'm sure I was like that once, but I am thankful for the sense of responsibility. Even though I wasn't the smartest one, but it was the drive to push me to where I am. Partially.
